Boundaries for South St. Paul Public Schools and the City of South St. Paul’s are nearly the same. The district serves approximately 3,700 students in the City of South St. Paul in two elementary schools (prek-5), a secondary school (6-12), an alternative learning center (9-12), two locations of early childhood programs (birth-5) and an adult basic education. Requirements

Current Minnesota Short-Call Substitute license issued by the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB). To qualify for a Short-Call Substitute license, candidates must hold the minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a college or university in the United States or PELSB approved credential outside the United States.
