School Year Substitute Assistant – Out of School Time Proram
Salary Range:
Hourly rate of pay: $13.00 per hour.

Work Week:
We are now hiring additional substitutes to support our 2020-2021 school year Out of School Time programs. Shifts will vary, but could run before school from 6:30 – 9:15 am, the duration of the school day from 9 am -3:30 pm in our pre-K Bear FUNdamentals programs and/or after school from 3:30 – 6 pm.

Pre-K, Elementary
Position Summary:
The Extended Day Elementary and Bear FUNdamentals Pre-K programs provide enrichment opportunities for children and youth with diverse interests, talents, and perspectives. This position performs human support work assisting in the implementation of youth activities. Responsibilities also include supporting appropriate student conduct, speech, attire, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Out of School Time Site Supervisor.
Education and /or Experience:
Minimal experience working with school aged children
Special Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Valid driver’s license
Certified in First Aid/CPR upon hire
Department of Human Services training upon hire
High School Diploma or GED required if not currently enrolled in courses
