Pioneer Ridge Middle School is a 6-8 learning environment with about 700 learners. We have a growing population of diverse learners which we support through exceptional, personalized learning. Preferred Candidates will have prior successful experience working with students in a diverse, multicultural education setting and/or experience working towards equity in education.
Position Dates: ASAP – 06/04/2020
Days/Hours: Student contact days; 7.0 paid hours per day; 8:15am – 3:45pm
Banded/Graded: B-2-1; Tier 5
Responsible To: Building Principal
Position Purpose: The basic skills para works with teachers to support students with instruction and academic support.
Major Job Functions/Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: See attachment. Experience working in an educational setting.
Benefits of Employment as of July 1, 2019: Eligible for benefits as negotiated between Student Support Staff (MSEA Association) and District 112. This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
