Work Week: Season runs March 8th through June 11th. Averages 12 hours per week, Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays.
Student Level: High School
A successful assistant boys track coaching candidate will consistently articulate and implement standards for high expectations which are fair and demanding, create a positive atmosphere within the entire program, assist the head coach in building organized and successful practice strategies, understand the value of collaborative work with head coach, parents, administration and community, uphold the visions of WBLAHS, the SEC, and the MSHSL, employ a creative approach to team, classroom, and community goals, and be a steward for the district.
Education and /or Experience:
Certification (or the ability to be certified) as a coach through the MSHSL.
Track experience as a participant or coach at the high school or college level is preferred.
