Certified Lifeguard
Community Education & Recreation

A position is available for a Certified Lifeguard through the Community Education & Recreation Department beginning as soon as possible.  This position is for 8 hours per week (varies – morning, afternoon, evening) 
Summary of Duties: Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons at MAPS aquatics facilities by preventing and responding to emergencies. Provides responsive customer service and builds and maintains positive working relationships with user groups and individuals through effective communication.

Qualifications Required:  
1. CPR/First Aid certification
2. Lifeguard certification
3. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
