SouthWest Metro Intermediate District #288 has an immediate full-time opening for a Child Care Educator for the East Creek Family Center in Chaska, MN .

Description:
Candidates for the Child Care Educator will provide care to toddlers and preschoolers at East Creek Family Center in Chaska, MN.
Duties Include lesson planning/facilitation, record-keeping, positive/professional communication, meal portioning & service, developmental assessment, and supervise for safety. 

Pay & Benefits: 
Starting pay is $18.85 per hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $4.80 more per hour when completing continuing education. Benefits are available beginning the first of the month following the  date of hire.
 
Job Summary:
Provide support by working directly with students to increase their academic, social/behavioral, communication, and study skills under the direction of the teacher(s).
 
Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field
• 3-5 years of child care experience
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.
• Ability to prepare and maintain classroom materials;
• Ability to communicate effectively with others;
