Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 is a dynamic and innovative suburban public school district serving approximately 8,000 students. The District includes 8 elementary schools with kindergarten through grade 5 (some with voluntary pre-kindergarten programs), two middle schools with grades 6-8, one high school with grades 9-12 and one alternative high school. The District also includes one of the most extensive Community Education programs in the state, serving newborns up through senior citizens.

Position Overview:

  • Days/Hours: Part Time – Flexibility is a must and may include late afternoons, evenings and Saturdays.  
  • Compensation/benefits: Per Unit Agreement BEA contract

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effective practices that promote equity for all families
  • Building relationships through strong, positive adult-child interactions
  • Providing a stimulating, safe and secure environment for play and exploration
  • Planning and implementing research based curriculum aligned with the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress
  • Providing culturally relevant learning experiences,
  • Gathering authentic observation and assessment data through play
  • Supporting family engagement in early childhood settings
  • Directing the work of support staff

Requirements:
  Early Childhood Licensure is required.
