Crookston Public Schools is seeking applicants for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Upper Elementary Teacher at Highland Elementary School starting Fall 2021.  Preferred candidate will have a passion for learning, good communication and classroom management skills, and be able to engage with students and parents for a positive learning environment.  Various Coaching opportunities and other various extra-curricular vacances are available.  Crookston, MN is located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota and has a population of approximately 7,800.  Agriculture is a very strong part of our community.   University of Minnesota-Crookston campus is located here and is a very strong member and supporter of our community.  Located just 25 miles east of Grand Forks, ND, we are close to the University of North Dakota, ample shopping, dining,  an international airport and more.   District enrollment size is approximately 1125 students, with the high school about 530 students grade 7-12; Highland Elementary School about 425 students grade 2-6; and Washington Elementary about 170 students pre-K through grade 1.
