Description:  ISD 719 is located in the seven county metropolitan area of Minneapolis and St. Paul and serves approximately 8,700 students across the district’s 14 schools. District 719’s dynamic leadership team is highly committed to educate all learners to reach their full potential as contributing and productive members of our ever-changing global community. Job Goal:  Lead and direct the development, implementation and ongoing continuous improvement and evaluation of the comprehensive business services across the district, including the finance, child nutrition services, and student enrollment. Collaborate with leadership to create short-term and long-term financial goals to provide the best possible educational services with the financial resources available. Serve as a member of the superintendent’s senior leadership team and provide excellence in service and collaboration throughout the district and community wide.

Qualifications:  

  1. Bachelor’s degree in related field required; CPA or Master’s degree preferred.

  2. Minimum of 4 years of administrative and supervisory experience required, preferably in public education or public accounting. 

  3. Demonstrated experience in program development, planning, supervision and continuous improvement processes. 

  4. Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. 

  5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other employees, leaders, and external partners.

  6. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. 

 

Compensation Overview:   This is a twelve-month position with a competitive salary, plus an excellent benefits package pursuant to the Prior Lake-Savage Administrators’ Association’s terms and conditions of employment.
