Skills Needed:
Ability to organize, multi-task, and provide oversight for up to 12 field trips for grades K-5, with a minimum of 50 students attending each trip; must be able to commit to all field trip days; ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and families.

Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty. 

Specific Tasks:
This program is a part of a summer expansion of opportunities for students funded through a grant from MDE.  
Organize and prepare for day of field trips for all students registered; Able to manage multiple tasks and issues at once – trouble shooting daily issues with staff and students; Create students groups and assign staff leads; Establish positive relationships with students, families, and staff; Provide overall student support to ensure success for all; Attend every field trip; Work in partnership with Coordinator and Director on all aspects of programming and communication.

Schedule and Wages:
Program schedule: Weeks of June 20 & 27 and Weeks of August 1 & 8, 2022.  Tuesday-Thursdays only, approx. 8 am – 4 pm. Hours may vary slightly depending on field trip location.
Paid planning and prep time prior to and during programming weeks.
Licensed staff will be paid at $50/hour.
