Health Office Aide 

Postion Purpose:
Supervised by a building level principal and under the direction of a licensed nurse for the implementation of health services, medication administration, and general documentation of health care given and in accordance with district policies and procedures. Postion located at ACGC JrSr School in Grove City, MN 

Responsibilities: 
Administer of care for students and staff according to school district policy. 
Administer medication according to school policy. 
Maintain stock of health office supplies, maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner. 
General administrative/clerical support. 
Communicate with needed staff on medical support plans for students. 
Communicate with parents of students served. 

Education and Experience: 
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). 
First Aid and CPR Certification preferred, but not required. 
Prior experience working with children and/or health care settings is preferred, but not required. 

Physical Requirements: 
The employee must occassionally lift and/or moved up to 25 pounds. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Prolonged periods of standing, reaching, bending. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and peripheral vision. 

Salary/Hours 
Salary range depended on experience and/or licensure. 
8 hours per week.
