Industrial Technology Teacher

Thief River Falls Public Schools has an opening for an Industrial Technology Teacher at Franklin Middle School beginning in the 2024-25 school year. Duties:

• Teach basic woodworking, computerized drafting and other industrial technology related courses to middle school students.
• Develop and administer curriculum consistent with district goals and objectives
• Show students how to apply classroom knowledge through hands-on activities
• Demonstrate and supervise the safe and proper use of tools and equipment
• Monitor students’ progress, assign tasks and grade assignments
• Develop and enforce rules and safety procedures

 
Qualifications:

• Proper MN licensure (as defined by PELSB)
• Successful prior industrial technology teaching experience in grades 6-8 preferred

 
Salary and Benefits:  Per Negotiated Contract
