Description:
Edina Public Schools has an opening for an Instructional Assistant 7 hours a day, at Valley View Middle School through the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education or two years of post-secondary education preferred
- Interest in working in a student population
- Knowledge of district and school policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate with students and staff
- Ability to perceive students’ needs and develop positive relationships
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to think and respond quickly while demonstrating patience
- Ability to use a computer to access shared Google files and facilitate Google Meets
- Access to internet
- Access and use of a chromebook or laptop with networking capabilities preferred
Pay Rate: $16.02-$18.59 depending on previous experience related to the position.
