Crookston Public Schools is seeking applicants for a Kindergarten Teacher, 1.0 FTE, starting Fall 2022.  Candidate must have current Minnesota Teaching license, or be anticipating one before August 2022.  Candidate must possess good communcation skills and the ability to create a safe and caring learning environment in which we prepare, engage, educate, empower and inspire all learners in partnership with their surrounding community to be successful in today’s and tomorrow’s society.  Preferred candidate will have a passion for learning, good classroom management procedures, good organizational skills, and be able to engage with students and parents for a positive learning experience.  Coaching and extracurricular opportunities are available.  

Crookston, MN is located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota and has a population of approximately 7,800.  Agriculture is a very strong part of our community.   University of Minnesota-Crookston campus is located here and is a very strong member and supporter of our community.  Located just 25 miles east of Grand Forks, ND, we are close to the University of North Dakota, ample shopping, dining, an international airport and more.   District enrollment size is approximately 1150 students.  There are currently 4 sections of Kindergarten, with approximately 80 students per grade.  We have a great kindergarten team of teachers to collaborate with!   Excellent salary and benefits package as per the Crookston Education Assn.
