Job Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinates identification and enrollment/withdraw processes for district Advanced Learning/High Potential/Navigator programming.
  2. Supports the Director of Teacher Development in coordinating district professional learning.
  3. Communicate by phone, in person, or by written notice with school and District personnel, parents, and the general public.
  4. Anticipate and provide clerical and administrative support to the Director of Advanced Learning Program and Director of Teacher Development.
  5. Manage the Professional Development, Q-Comp, and Advanced Learning department budget reports including expense reports, invoices, billing, coding, supplies. 
  6. Process material orders and compensation/stipends for District employees.
  7. Provides support to Teaching and Learning personnel for special projects or as needed.
  8. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned by the Teaching and Learning department.


  1. Proficient in Google Education, Outlook, FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, laserfiche.
  2. Evidence of excellent typing skills (minimum of 50 wpm).and database management skills.
  3. Evidence of ability to work independently; strong organizational skills; job flexibility; and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks from multiple supervisors.
  4. Evidence of effective work habits and concentration during interruptions and ability to work well under deadlines and pressure.
  5. Responsibility in confidential matters.
  6. Evidence of ability to read, analyze, write, and interpret documents, budgets, correspondence, minutes and reports.
  7. Good communication, human relations skills, and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, student families, and the general public, sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
