QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Two years post-secondary education or two years relevant work experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English language
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience working with adults
POSITION SUMMARY:
Support and assist adult learners, ABE teachers, administrators and other staff in the areas of ESL (English as a Second Language), literacy development, and other academic areas. Duties include student intake and registration, and tracking attendance.
SALARY:
$16.48/hr – $20.93/hr

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Oversee record-keeping process including intakes and attendance
- Complete tutor training and lead small groups under the direction of a licensed teacher
- Staying in compliance with federal, state, and program requirements
- Compile daily attendance and record on spreadsheet for ABE attendance tracking
- Assist with student record keeping including assessment, attendance, progress, goal setting, and exit reporting
- Assist in recruitment activities
- Photocopy materials as needed
- Other duties as assigned
