Migrant Summer School Staff – Paraprofessional – Spanish

Migrant Summer School has opening for the following positions for our 2024 MSS Program
Glencoe MSS will run July 8-Aug. 1, M-TH in conjunction with the GSL Summer School Program, with training and time to prepare rooms and curriculum July 1-2, with a Registration/Family ‘Come Check Us Out Event’ July 2 during the normal day. 1 FTE   Support Staff Para Educators – Spanish (1)
Duties include general supervision of MSS students in and out of the classroom. Academic responsibilities will include assisting the ELL and classroom teachers with academic needs such as progress monitoring, interventions, small group instruction, record keeping, and behavior management. Additional duties include overseeing groups in enrichment activities such as STEM, Art, Field Trips, Technology, etc. Individual will work closely with Targeted Services and MSS staff to assist with students requiring the most need for interpretation and bilingual support. Positions will cover MSS 7:30-3:30 M-Th. Hours may be flexible or shared depending on qualified applicant numbers and program needs. Hours and dates listed are not guaranteed nor contracted to be paid should classes not be able to be in session for any reason.
