About Spring Lake Park Schools
Welcome to Spring Lake Park Schools! We are a vibrant school community serving about 5,800 students from the suburbs of Blaine, Fridley and Spring Lake Park, in the northern Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. Roles and Responsibilities: 

Substitute teacher duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Implementation of preschool curriculum
  • classroom management
  • collaboration with other preschool staff
  • parent communication, as needed 

*Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
*Exhibits a strong understanding of child development
*Ability to use current, effectual early childhood teaching methods
*Ability to build positive relationships with students that result in high levels of student engagement in learning

Preferences: We strongly prefer candidates who have exhibited excellence in collaboration with colleagues and an enthusiasm to work with students.  Previous experience working with preschool age children preferred.

Licensing Requirements
Current Minnesota teaching license or Substitute teacher license is required; Pre-K or Early Childhood teaching license is preferred. 
Hourly pay, highly competitive for the region.
