Salary Range/Hourly Rate: Per paraeducator agreement: Level III Step 1
Start Date: ASAP
Closing Date: 4/26/2024-Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.
Work Days: Monday-Friday Approximately 8:45 AM- 3:45 PM (6.5 hour position)
Student Level: High School
Position Summary: Performs intermediate human support work assisting classroom teachers by working with special needs students individually or in small groups, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of building administration and the Assistant Director of Student Support Services.
Education and /or Experience: High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with children, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates/Technical degree preferred.
Special Requirements:
Must hold AA/AS degree, completed 60 semester credits or pass MN Parapro test
Training in Blood Borne Pathogens
Experience working with secondary students, preferred.
Valid driver’s license in the State of Minnesota.
