When a paraprofessional is absent, a responsible substitute is needed to carry out the educational program. As a substitute, you’ll become an integral part of a school’s educational team, while maximizing the learning experience for students!

POSITION:

Special Education Paraprofessional Substitute

LOCATION:

District-wide

RATE OF PAY:

$17.63/hour, MSEA Level 3 (90%) pay rate.

HOURS/DAY, DAYS/YEAR, AND
START/ENDING TIMES:


Varies per assignment.

WORKING DAYS PER YEAR:

Varies per assignment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working with children.
  • Basic child development educational background or knowledge, preferred.
  • Willingness to work with and show respect for students.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, patience, and flexibility.

TESTING REQUIRED:

Physical Abilites Test
