Worthington District 518 Community Education is seeking to hire a Parent Educator beginning in August 2021. Applicants must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a Parent and Family Education license. The Parent Educator will plan and facilitate parent discussion groups, model positive parenting behavior, plan special events, and help with recruitment and intake. Other requirements include good communication skills, leadership capabilities, and experience working with children and their parents. This position averages 8-10 hours/week during the school year, some evening hours are required. Reports to the Early Childhood Coordinator.
