Program Director of Information Systems – Programmer Analyst
District-wide position with office located at the Education Service Center
Salary range and benefits based on Terms and Conditions of Employment for Program Directors
Job level 5 ($82,0448 to $97,884 annual salary) based on the current terms and conditions salary schedule; negotiations for the 2021-22 school year are pending
8.5 hours per day, which includes eight hours of paid work time plus 30 minutes of unpaid lunch time
52 weeks per year                  


The Program Director of Technology Systems – Programmer Analyst provides management of the district’s information systems services and support, including project management and programming for individual departments.


  • Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test and modify programs, data integrations, and custom databases including MS Access, and MSSQL
  • Analyze existing SQL and Access database solutions for performance improvements
  • Develop and maintain procedures and scripts for data migration
  • Work closely with end-users to understand their requirements and specifications, communicate possible solutions
  • Develop custom applications and reports to supplement and integrate information systems, based on consultative work with supervisors and end-users
  • Manage and maintain database servers
  • Maintain programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
  • Supervise programming projects and staff


Education and/or Experience

  • Education and/or Experience
  • BS in computer science of information systems management.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role, preferred
  • Experience with educational technology applications is strongly preferred, e.g., Skyward and  Infinite Campus.

Technology Skills

  • Microsoft SQL programming – Proficient

    • Minimum three (3) years experience     
    • Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
    • Microsoft Access – Understanding
  • Microsoft Access – Understanding

    • Minimum three (3) years experience
    • Intermediate level skills writing Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
