Provide classroom four hours of classroom instruction to students in grades 7-12 in the REACH program. REACH stands for Relationships, Education, Accountability, Character, Hard Work. This program will be strongly based on character education, goal setting, academic support and success, and relationship building. Students in this program may be at-risk academically, socially, or emotionally and need additional support to be successful.
Valid MN Teaching license. Demonstrated use of 21st Century strategies and approaches to ensure all learners achieve the highest levels. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
Other Skills & Abilities:
Provide a variety of strategies in working with students, and maintain flexibility in day-to-day dealing with staff, parents, and students. Excellent service orientation and interpersonal communications skills with internal and external customers. Must understand and comply with all protocols related to data privacy. Ability to perform duties with an awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
