School Psychologist 

Cologne Academy (Kindergarten-8th Grade Public School) – Cologne, MN is located in Carver County and currently enrolls approximately 750 students betrween our onsite and virtual academy.  Cologne Academy offers its students an enriched learning experience through the Core Knowledge curriculum and an individualized approach to learning.  Cologne Academy seeks professional educators who are passionate about contributing to its mission and vision that focuses on academics and character development.

MN Department of Education Licensed School Psychologist eligible for a MN license

General Duties include:
* Lead the evaluation team for all special education evaluations and re-evaluations.
* Conduct special education evaluations and re-evaluations, including intellectual evaluation, emotional/behavioral evaluation, adaptive functioning, functional behavioral assessment, parent and student interviews, and relevant summaries.  
* Participate as member on the Student Intervention Team 
* Work with the behavioral intervention team to develop behavior intervention plans, assist teachers with implementation and provide training as needed
* Provide training for licensed and non-licensed staff on student-specific interventions based on needs identified in evaluations.
* Provide training and assist to develop data collection and progress monitoring related to academic and behavioral interventions.
* Provide direct services for behavior/mental health related needs for students with IEPs
* Act as a member of the crisis team
* Comply with due process requirements.

• Apply ethics and standards of professional practice in the delivery of school psychological services and observe relevant laws and policies that govern practice.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis. Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents and staff.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
