Crookston Public Schools is seeking applicants for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Special Education Instructor  beginning 2024-2025 school year.  Applicant must have or be eligible for MN teaching license qualified to teach Special Education.  Preferred licensure in multiple areas including SLD, DCD, EBD, LD, ASD or a combination of these licenses.  Other preferred qualifications include previous related experience and knowledge of Special Education; ability to communicate and connect with students and families; team building skills and the ability to collaborate with staff; and positive interpersonal skills.   Various Coaching and extra-curricular positions are also available.

Crookston, MN is located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota and has a population of approximately 7,800.  Agriculture is a very strong part of our community.   University of Minnesota-Crookston campus is located here and is a very strong member and supporter of our community.  Located just 25 miles east of Grand Forks, ND, we are close to the University of North Dakota, ample shopping, dining,  an international airport and more.   District enrollment size is approximately 1150 students, with the high school about 630 students grade 6-12.
