Twin Cities International Schools is now hiring for a full-time Special Education Program Assistant Position (Grades K-8) for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year. Immediate start date available.
Requirements: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or completion of a minimum of 60 credits from an accredited college or university. The following skills are required; Language Skills, Mathematical Skills, Reasoning Ability, Computer Skills
Responsibilities include: Help develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children; according to age ability, and aptitude. Under direction of special education teacher, assist in implementation of a variety of academic and behavioral strategies for individual students. One to one student supervision, including behavior modification, collecting student data and evaluating student goals. Working collaboratively with the special education department to foster student success. Educational Assistants’ also assist the teachers in helping challenge and inspire students to deepen their knowledge and understanding. Position open until filled.
