Job Summary:
The certified early childhood special education teacher works with parent and regular education teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs designed to support the growth of students receiving special education services. The teacher also develops lesson plans, conducts classroom instruction, and assesses both instructional material and student performance. The special education teacher interprets students progress and routinely communicates with parents and the IEP team to share student progress towards their goals, strengths, and growth areas.
