St. James is seeking to hire an innovative and student-centered Special Education teacher.  There are two full time Special Education positions available in our Middle/Senior High School (Grades 6-12).  There is flexibility in Special Education licensure area and in the grade levels of the students for whom this teacher will be the case manager and advocate.   This specific position will be best served by a teacher with an ABS, LD and/or ASD license.

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) educators are an asset for our students, families and community as our student demographic is 50% Hispanic and 50% White.  A focus on equity, inclusion and breaking down barriers to educational and activity opportunities is an expectation for all teachers and coaches/advisors.

Extra-curricular coaching and advising is available in arts, athletics and student leadership activities.
