Successful background check required.
Thorough knowledge of subject(s) taught; thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching; ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior; ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports; and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents. Ability to complete due process requirements, and all other duties and responsibilities of a special education teacher.

Provide an ideal, positive learning environment, instruct students in individual or group sessions, develop, translate and integrate lesson plans, and establish positive relationships. Work with students that have autism or a cognitive delay, complete due process paperwork, and case manage a group of students.

7.5 hours per day
7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
