Job Description:  Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy at Roseville Area High School for a Special Education Work Based Learning Teacher.  This is a 1.0 FTE. The Work Based Special Education Teacher will assist students in gaining knowledge, skills and work habits that increase their potential for career and college success. A Special Education Work Based Learning Teacher would closely supervise the worksite activities of students and is responsible for all the paperwork associated with this experience (training plans, agreements, safety training, seminar class, performance evaluations, record keeping, site observation, etc.). Other responsibilities include the school coffee shop, supervising the PAES lab, creating building work experiences for our students, and case management of students on IEPs.

Qualifications:  

  • Minnesota Work Based Learning endorsement license
  • Minnesota Special Education licensure required; Special Education ASD or ABS licensure preferred.
  • Experience case managing students.
  • Commitment to an equitable and inclusive education experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cultural competence.

Compensation: Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $46,124 with a generous benefits package.
