Water Safety Instructor

Community Education

A position is available for a Water Safety Instructor with Community Education for 6 hours a day M-TH from 10 am – 4 pm (some flexibility with shorter hours).

Summary of Duties

1. Prepare lesson plans to teach various levels of American Red Cross swimming lessons (Parent & Child, Preschool, and Learn-to-Swim Levels 1 – 6)

2. Teach group (Parent & Child, Preschool, and Learn-to-Swim Levels 1 – 6) and private (individual and small group) swimming lessons following the American Red Cross curriculum.

3. Ensure students are safe in, on, and around the water.

Qualifications:
 Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification
