Work Based Learning Coordinator

Job Summary:

• Coordinate partnerships with local businesses to establish WBL placements
• Teach weekly WBL curriculum
• Supervise students on the job site
• Coordinate interview process for WBL placements
• Review and oversee implementation of WBL Handbook
• Exemplary communication skills
• Develop positive relationships with local business
• Independently manage a caseload of students
• Manage WBL placements
• Secures and maintains all required student permission forms, releases of information and records
• Plan and facilitate parent and student information meetings
• Plan and facilitate local business meetings
• Support businesses with creation of WBL job description
• Research new WBL placements
• Determines appropriate job settings for students to meet educational needs and provide safe environment
• Determines intervention strategies as necessary to improve student performance in WBL settings

Qualifications:
Minnesota Teaching License
Vocational CTE certification for Work Based Learning
