About Educate Minnesota
Minnesotans value public education as a foundational part of community and economy. Central to public education are the people, the educators, that invest their career and personal energy into our kids.
For years, schools throughout all of Minnesota have seen increasing shortages of talented new educators. The gap of available talent to high needs continues to grow such that today the Minnesota Department of Education identifies teacher shortages in nearly 50 areas of special and general education, and 8 of the 13 economic regions in the state. Shortfalls in available daily substitute teachers are even more challenging for many schools.
Educate Minnesota is an effort to meet the current and future staffing needs of K-12 public schools in Minnesota.
This site combines the services of an online job board, job seeker tools, and active educator recruiting to help current and aspiring educators connect with Minnesota schools.
All job postings on Educate Minnesota are live vacancies with partner schools.
I believe that supporting principals and other hiring managers with practices and technology tools that are proven to develop the potential in all educators is the key to closing the educator talent gap. I created Educate Minnesota as a resource to connect educators that are hungry to fulfill their purpose, with districts and charter school leaders building the teams that will best serve their communities and kids.
