Districts and Charters are the largest employers of educators in Minnesota. The work being done to safeguard the current and future staffing needs ranges from status quo to highly-innovative and driven – all depending on the needs of the community being served. Common to all schools is the need to ensure that all learners have access to the best available educators.
Communities across Minnesota value public education as being foundational to civilization and progress. In recognition of this value, a number of partners contribute to the operation of the Minnesota Educator Recruitment Center.
Community-based and advocacy organizations complement the work of the Minnesota Educator Recruitment Center’s mission to meet current and future staffing needs in Minnesota schools. Strategic Partner organizations are those that align to:
- Promote education and the profession of teaching,
- Expand access to higher education and preparation programs
- Support new teacher induction and retention
Strategic partners cooperate in branding and advocacy for the benefit of all of Minnesota’s learners.
