Multiple Locations (Watertown, Westonka, Big Lake)
This position involves providing direct instruction to adults in an Adult Basic Education program. Up to 40 Professional Development hours are available annually. Classes generally run from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. plus a 1/2 hour prep time on Monday or Tuesday evenings. The time and day of class may be changed as well.
Responsibilities will include providing direct instruction to adult students who are working to improve their basic skills and/or obtain their GED. Position also includes student assessment, returning student phone calls, monitoring student attendance, completing necessary student record keeping and other duties as assigned. Applicant must be computer literate.
Minimum qualifications: Valid MN teaching license. Sub-license will work as well.
Starting Hourly Wage: competitive
Start Date: Training immediately after hire
