Description:
This position is full time and is located at the Dean Lakes Education Center in Shakopee. The position includes 8 hours per day and 185 Contract Days per year.

Job Summary:
Provide instruction in the content area. Responsibilities include lesson planning and instruction, conducting ongoing assessment, monitoring student attendance, collaborating with other staff, and keeping student records. 

Qualifications:   

  • Experience working with multicultural populations and English language learners preferred.
  • Minnesota Teaching License in the career and technical field of culinary and hospitality industry or Family and Consumer Science for K-12 required.           
  • Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to build successful relationships with students and staff.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.
