Minnesota Early Childhood Teaching License required
Successful background check required.

Skills Needed:
Thorough knowledge of implementing curriculum for children birth to five years following the early childhood learning standards. Thorough knowledge of child development and experience with effective teaching of young children. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with families and community partners; ability to work as part of a team. Experience in leadership or supervisory role preferred.

Specific Tasks:
Plan and implement age appropriate activities for children ages birth- 5 years and their parents. Serve as an advocate and resource for families with young children. Provide outreach services to the community. Assist with Early Childhood Screening. General oversight of assigned school site, including direction and/or adjustments needed for the benefit of the program, address routine maintenance, scheduling & supply needs as well as safety and health concerns in collaboration with Early Childhood Coordinator. Other duties as assigned by Coordinator.

Hours Per Day:
7.5 hours per day, Salaried Position
Some hours occasionally fall outside the school day/calendar
