Crookston Public Schools is seeking applicants for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Elementary Music Instructor at Highland Elementary School beginning Fall 2024-2025 school year.  Qualified candidate must hold a valid Minnesota teaching license in the area of K-12 Classroom music or be able to acquire one before Fall 2024.  Skills and traits required for the position include effecive communication and teaming skills, willingness to be flexible and excellent attendance; knowledge and aplication of technology; good organizational skills; experience working with diverse students and families and a passion for working with students.  Crookston, MN is located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota and has a population of approximately 7,800.  Agriculture is a very strong part of our community.   University of Minnesota-Crookston campus is located here and is a very strong member and supporter of our community.  Located just 25 miles east of Grand Forks, ND, we are close to the University of North Dakota, ample shopping, dining,  an international airport and more.   District enrollment size is approximately 1150 students, with the elementary school about 500 students grade K-5. 

Applicant must have or be eligible for MN teaching license qualified to teach Elementary Music.  Competitive salary and benefit package is per negotiated contract (for details on Master Agreement, please see https://bit.ly/407rh7s.
