Position Title: GED Instructor(s)
Primary Location: District Wide, Various District Buildings and Community Locations
Assignment Specifications: Seeking 2-3 candidates; Flexible, between 5-20+ hours per week; Positions available mornings, afternoons, and evenings; in-person, online, and hybrid

Exempt Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Adult Literacy Coordinator, candidates will be responsible for providing basic GED instruction by using best practices and developing individual learner-centered lesson plans based on intake assessments and learner goals. The incumbent will conduct continuous assessments and modify the curriculum on an ongoing basis. 

Qualifications: Qualified candidates must hold a current teaching license issued by the Minnesota Professional Educators Licensing and Standards Board. A background in adult education and digital literacy is preferred along with a strong working knowledge of technology and its use in the classroom and strong interpersonal communications skills.
