Health Services Paraprofessional

Eden Prairie Schools is seeking a Health Paraprofessional who will provide quality health services to students and staff under the direction of the district nurse and building principal.  

Eden Prairie is a diverse school with over 1,900 employees serving approximately 9,000 students.  The district is recognized for its quality initiatives and its leadership in educational programming.

CLASSIFICATION:

 MSEA Level 3 – $21.09

HOURS PER DAY:

 6.75

START & ENDING TIME:

 8:15 am – 3:30 pm

WORKING DAYS PER YEAR:

 178

PAID HOLIDAYS:

 6

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

  • High School degree or equivalent required.

  • Health related education or LPN/RN preferred.

  • One year related experience is preferred.

  • Certified CPR and appropriate First Aid within one month of date of hire.

  • Participation in School Health Paraprofessional training within one year of hire.

  • Health experience and experience with children required.

  • Knowledge of: school policies and procedures; state immunization requirements and communicable diseases.

  • Ability to keep accurate records

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
