NOTICE OF OPENING
Instructional Excellence Coordinator

The Instructional Excellence Coordinator has both content and instructional expertise in curriculum design, instructional best practices, and the integration and use of technology in the classroom. The Instructional Excellence Coordinator serves as a liaison between the Personalized Learning department and site leadership teams. The Instructional Excellence Coordinator serves as a member of the Personalized Learning department working to align district and building goals.

We are currently seeking two exceptional Instructional Excellence Coordinators for leadership positions at Eden Prairie Schools for the 2023-2024 school year.

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Current Minnesota Teaching License

Preferred:

  • Advanced Degree
  • Spanish speaking

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of MN content standards.
  • Experience in innovative research-based instructional practices.
  • Desire for career advancement.
  • Previous job embedding coaching experience.
  • Deep knowledge of and experience in:
  • innovative instructional strategies
  • conditions of learning
  • assessment driven and data-driven instruction
  • effective use of a multi-tiered system of supports
  • educational equity
  • Effective cross-cultural communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for building an environment with acommon instructional focus, promoting initiatives, and conveying expectations.
  • Ability to design and deliver quality professional development for teachers and administrators.
  • Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional manner both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated strength in organization, communication skills, and efficiency in meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a positive collaborative member of a team.
  • Demonstrated interest and engagement in professional learning and reflection.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in equity and culturally responsive teaching practices.

Compensation & Paid Leave

  • Salary range:  $93,225 – $101,225
  • Up to 25 paid vacation days/year
  • Paid sick days and paid personal day of leave given yearly
  • Up to 11 paid holidays 

Health Insurance

  • Medical premiums are covered by the district up to 100% for individual plans and up to $1,184 per month toward family plans. District contributions to VEBA/HRA accounts for select medical plans.  
  • Dental premiums are fully covered by the district for individual and family plans.

Retirement

  • 403b with a district match of up to 2.25% of annual salary
