Up to $10,000 Hiring and Retention Bonus Possible: through a grant from The Come Teach in Minnesota Program, licensed teachers who are American Indian or people of color and who move to Minnesota may be eligible for a hiring bonus of up to $5,000. Position:  This position is for a Language Arts teacher at Crossroads East.

Qualifications:  Current Minnesota teaching license to teach Language Arts at the middle and high school level.

Summary of Duties:  Instruction of high school students in the subject area of Language Arts.

  • Commitment to the district philosophy including working on and with a team of teachers through our PLC process, co-curricular groups and supporting other aspects of secondary education.
  • Differentiates curriculum to a wide range of learners.
  • Feels comfortable working and teaching with technology.  
  • Shows commitment to stay current with professional improvement.
  • Proven skill in forming, building, and maintaining positive relationships with students, families and staff.
