Substitute teacher duties include, but are not limited to:
Facilitate ECFE Parent-child classes, guiding student learning during play and exploration, classroom management, and parent communication.
We strongly prefer candidates who have exhibited excellence in collaboration with colleagues and an enthusiasm to work with students and their families.
The successful candidate must have a Minnesota substitute teaching license, a Pre-K license, or Early Childhood teaching license. A current Minnesota State Licensure in Parent Education or Family Education is preferred. Additional demonstrated qualifications include: commitment to the equitable education of all students; creative planning and organizational skills, and highly effective interpersonal skills.
Current Minnesota Parent Education, Family Education, Pre-K, or Early Childhood license or eligibility is higly preferred. Candidates holding a current Minnesota Substitute teacher license will be considered.
