Eden Prairie Schools is seeking applicants for Reserve Teachers. Our reserve teachers play an important role in the education of our students and our students continue to receive high quality education when you provide the best instruction possible in the absence of the regular teacher. Whenever a reserve teacher is teaching in our schools, you are working within the community’s most valuable assets: our students. - A valid current Minnesota teaching license is required to be a Reserve teacher . This license permits you to substitute in grades K-12.

- A four year college degree which meets the requirements for applying for a Short Call/Limited Teaching License with the Minnesota Department of Education. If you have a 4-year degree, but not in education, you must contact the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) to learn the requirements to receive a Limited Short Call Sub license before you can begin to substitute teacher in the district. - $62.50 for a half day assignment; $125.00 for a full day assignment.
