Substitute Teacher – Building Reserve Teacher

Are you ready to make an impact on education? Eden Prairie Schools is hiring talented individuals interested in becoming Permanent Building Reserve (Substitute) Teachers for the 2022-23 school year.  These Reserve Teachers will directly report to their site location five days a week and provide continuous learning opportunities for all learners.  No need to call into a system and find a job, no early morning phone calls, just report right to your on-site work location every teacher workday Monday – Friday.  

There is a classroom of elementary, middle or high school students that will soon need your help. They’ll need a caring and flexible problem solver who can make the most of the teaching day.   Be a part of continuing the education program when a teacher is absent.  We’re committed to placing you in that classroom.

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • Be Flexible 
  • Be Prompt
  • Follow a lesson plan
  • Stay positive
  • Manage the classroom proactively
  • Communicate well with students, teachers, administrators

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minnesota Teacher License
    • Short-Call Sub License or
    • Teacher Licensure (any subject area) 
  • Licensure Information:  PELSB

Schedule:

  • 5 days/week
  • Monday-Friday
  • September 19, 2022 – May 26, 2023

Salary:

  • Salaried position with placement on BA Step 1 of the teacher’s salary schedule (pro rated based on start date)
